FREE ON ALL ORDERS TO MAINLAND UK ADDRESSES
Mainland UK FREE on all orders, Non mainland UK £4.95, EU & Other Countries £30.

If ordering bulky or heavy items from non mainland UK, the EU or other countries, we might have to levy a surcharge for Postage & Packing. Should this be the case with your order, we will inform you and process the order only after we get your go ahead. 

The Postage & Packing surcharge is applicable only for non mainland UK, the EU or other countries and NOT for mainland UK addresses. 

Highlands & Non Mainland UK addresses are defined as those UK addresses with a postcode in the following range: PO30-41, BT, IM, TR21-25, GY1-9, JE, IV, KW, ZE, HS, KA27-28, PH19-44, PA20-88 or as advised by Royal Mail. 

All other UK postcode addresses are considered as Mainland UK. 

Customers ordering from non EU countries or jurisdictions, should note that custom duty, clearance charge, local tax and any other related charge, if any, will be borne only by the customer. As these charges, if any, vary vastly from every jurisdiction or country, Whites of London Limited cannot estimate what these charges will be, if any, nor will we be responsible for them.

 

Stock permitting, we aim to despatch your order, fully paid, by credit card within 24 hours to be with you in 5 working days. For orders paid by cheque, we would require 4 working days for bank clearance and would then despatch the products in the same way.

In the event an item is out of stock, we would inform you and provide an estimate delivery time. We will charge your Credit / Debit Card only when your goods are ready for despatch.

Goods to overseas, EU and some areas of Scotland and Northern Ireland may take up to 14 working days to reach. Custom duty and local tax, if any, will be borne by the customer.

All offers are subject to availability. We reserve the right to refuse an order.

All orders need to be signed for at the time of delivery. There maybe an extra charge if we need to attempt delivery more than once.

Delivery dates are estimated only and we cannot be liable for delays in the delivery of goods to you.

Percale cotton is closely woven smooth finished fabric having a minimum of 180 threads per square inch. Most of our bedlinen has 200 to 550 threads per square inch to give an even more luxurious feel.
Ordinary Cotton Fabric
Ordinary cotton fabric is not woven tightly and has less than 180 threads per square inch.

 

 

Returns & Replacements


100% Satisfaction Guarantee 

In the unlikely event that you are not a 100% satisfied with our products, you must contact us by email or in writing advising us of your notice of cancellation within 14 days of receipt of the goods. 

Once we have received this notice of cancellation we will ask you to return the goods to us with their original packing for a full exchange or refund. Please complete the return form and include it with any item that you may wish to return for an exchange or refund within 5 working days.

We cannot accept unwanted items for an exchange or refund if they have been opened and used, or washed. 

You have a statutory duty to take reasonable care of the goods whilst in your possession. You must also take reasonable care to ensure that Whites of London receive the returned goods and that the goods are not damaged in transit. We strongly recommend that you use the original packaging and send the goods back to us using a traceable delivery method such as recorded delivery post. Please ensure you retain proof of posting. We reserve the right to ask for proof of posting and to claim against you (the consumer) for any breach of your statutory duties. 

You (the customer) are responsible for the cost of returning unwanted goods to us. Whites of London will refund the total purchase price paid (including any Postage and Packing delivery charge if this has been charged). 

For items up to 1000 grams, we strongly recommend that you use second class recorded (signed for) post to return the goods, as Whites of London cannot be held liable for any losses in post. 

For items heavier than 1000 grams, please use the Standard Parcels service. You can send parcels up to 1.5m long and up to 20kg (combined length and girth of your item must not exceed 3 metres) but please make sure you take the free certificate of posting from your Post Office®, as Whites of London cannot be held liable for any losses in post. 

For even heavier items, such as furniture, please contact us before returning them for advice and method of return. 

 

Returns Exceptions

With the exception of faulty merchandise, for hygiene and safety reasons we cannot exchange or accept the return of certain items which have been opened and used. This applies to semi precious jewellery, nightwear, duvets, toppers, protectors and pillows. 

Whites of London will not exchange or refund goods made to the consumer’s own specification such as custom-made linen or other personalised goods unless the goods are faulty, not fit for their specific purpose or not as described in accordance with your statutory rights. 

In the unlikely event that Whites of London are not able to supply the goods you ordered and substitute products are sent in their place, we will pay the cost of returning these substitute products.

 

Faulty Goods

Where goods are faulty or otherwise do not comply with the contract, you should notify us in writing as soon as possible. Whites of London reserve the right to have such goods examined before any refund or exchange is made. We will pay the cost of returning faulty goods. Wear and tear after use will not be construed as a fault.

We are manufacturers and suppliers of fine quality embroidered bed linen and home accessories to leading retail outlets around the world. At Whites of London, we offer bed linen in superior 100% combed cotton 200 thread count percale for maximum comfort, luxury and durability.

We can supply all items featured on our site, subject to availability, for trade. We would also be happy to execute your own designs and supply them on an exclusive basis (subject to our minimum quantities). 

Our site provides an overview of our standard product range. We can supply all these items:

  • From stock (all items/offers are subject to availability. We reserve the right to refuse an order);

All trade/wholesale orders are firm. Requests for returns will be considered in exceptional circumstances, and is at the sole discretion of Whites of London. No returns can be accepted for orders which have been pre-paid or invoiced on a pro-forma basis.

Return requests must be received in writing within five days from receipt of goods. Goods approved for return will only be accepted if they are received back in mint/saleable condition.
